Thanks to the redesign, the interior of the semi-detached house has become spacious, brighter and more functional. The corridor - or entrance zone - introduces and invites into the living area of the house with its long, blue wall. A large mirror on the opposite wall enlarges the entrance zone. Originally designed garage has been converted into a children's playroom. Through glazing, it is visually connected to the living room, providing visual contact with children. Using sliding doors, these spaces can be merged or separated at any time, without imposing clear interior divisions. The kitchen is the heart of the house and is connected to the living room with a large kitchen island, where the family can dine, sit or have a chat. A wide window in the living room overlooks the garden, and under the stairs, separating the two flights of stairs, the large glazed surface visually links all the interior zones together. Under the stairs, on the side of the children's playroom, there is a wooden seat with storage for toys. White walls and floors form the base for the interior colour palette, which is complemented by soft colours and oak veneer. Doors designed to the full height of the walls optically elevate the interior. Mosaic tiles have been used in the bathrooms and kitchen. The first floor consists of two bedrooms, two bathrooms and an office. Custom-designed furnishings allow for maximum use of space. The layout organisation allows for easy adaptation of the interior in the future - when the children will need separate rooms in a few years' time, the study will be relocated in place of the playroom, freeing up space for the new bedroom.
